Oath taking of UoB Officers Association held

QUETTA: The oath taking ceremony of the Balochistan University Officers Association was held here the other day. The Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Javed Iqbal was the chief guest.
Also attended the ceremony was by the Pro-Vice Chancellor, Dr. Mehrab Khan, Registrar, Muhammad Tariq Jogezai, Dean of the faculties, teachers, officers and other employees of the University.
The Chairman of the Election Commission announced the names of the newly elected office bearers of the Association.
As per the announcement those who were elected as office bearers were included: Gul Muhammad Kakar (Chairman), Nazir Ahmed Lehir (Vice Chairman), Naeem Bacha (General Secretary), Muhammad Akram (Finance Secretary), Muhammad Gulshan (Press Secretary) and others.
The Vice Chancellor administered oath to the newly elected office bearers. Speaking on the occasion, he expressed the hope that the officers would serve the cause of development and betterment of the University.
He assured that all the genuine issues being faced by the officers and staff of the UoB would be resolved.
He said that we have tried to ensure good governance in the University. The financial matters are also being resolved while a roadmap has also been prepared in this regard, he maintained.
He pledged to take all the stakeholders on board for development of the University.
