Transporters call on Secretary PTA

QUETTA: A delegation of transporters called on the Secretary Provincial Transport Authority (PTA), Abdul Khaliq Mandokhail here the other day.
The Secretary Regional Transport Authority (RTA), Amanullah Khan Panezai, Motor vehicle examiner, Ghous Bakhsh Kurd, Focal Person, Jan Muhammad Hassani, besides other concerned were also present in the meeting.
Speaking to the transporters, the Secretary PTA said that steps are being taken to bring improvement in the transport sector.
He said that it has become unavoidable to do so because hundreds of thousands people travel through the public and private transport. So, it is mandatory for the transporters to facilitate the travelers, he stressed.
andokhail mentioned that the Minister Transport, Sheikh Jaffar Mandokhail and the Secretary Transport, Muhammad Khalid Baloch took special interest in development of the transport sector, on their special directives, steps have been taken to improve condition of the transport, he added. The process of bringing improvement in the transport sector would remain continued in future as well, he assured.
