QUETTA: A meeting was held to review arrangements for the forthcoming polio immunization campaign in Naseerabad district here the other day.
The Deputy Commissioner, Naseer Ahmed Nasser presided over the meeting.
Divisional Director of Health, Abdul Latif Lehri, Deputy District Health Officer, Dr. Syed Mukhtiar Shah, Assistant Commissioner Nabi Bakhsh Bardo, besides other concerned officials attended the meeting.
The Deputy DHO briefed the meeting about the arrangements made for the campaign. It was informed that the campaign would be launched from October 12-14, 2015.
Over 1,30,000 children upto the age of five years of age would be administered the anti-polio drops during the campaign, it was informed further.
As many as 329 teams have been formed for the purpose, it was informed adding that arrangements have also been made at the different health establishments and transit points.
