QUETTA: The Water and Sanitation Authority (WASA) has decided to launch crackdown against the defaulters of its water utility bills in Quetta.
The sources of the WASA told that teams are being formed to take action against those not paying their water bills and dues in the metropolis.
The water connections of the defaulters would be disconnected during the crackdown, the sources said.
It may be mentioned here that the WASA is experiencing serious financial crisis mainly because of the paucity of funds as well as non-payment of the water utility bills by the consumers.
In view of the situation, it was decided to take action against those defaulters, who are not paying their dues despite getting water.
