Building Code: DC Quetta’s initiatives appreciated

QUETTA: The opposition leader in the Quetta Metropolitan Corporation (QMC) and former Mayor and Nazim, Muhammad Rahim Kakar has appreciated the initiatives of the Deputy Commissioner against violation of the Building Code in the city.
In a statement issued here, he said that while violation of the Building Code is continued right under the nose of Mayor QMC, the district administration is taking action against the buildings raised in violation of the Building Code.
He charged that the maps of the buildings are being approved by the map committee.
Muhammad Rahim Kakar urged the Mayor Dr. Kalimullah Khan to take action against the staff and other concerned allegedly involved in the corruption.
