They strongly condemned the SSGC for the issue and demanded an immediate solution to it so that they may get relief in the severe cold.
In the meantime, the protestors also blocked the road causing disruption to the traffic there. They said that the low gas pressure has added to their hardships.
They said that if the issue was not resolved immediately, they would continue to lodge protest against the issue until and unless it is resolved.
Meanwhile, the residents of Tareen Road, Arif Road, Mir Khalilur Rehman road, Prince road, Toghi Road, Tail Godam and different other areas of the city have demanded of the SSGC authorities to take an immediate notice of the low gas pressure, which is otherwise taking heavy toll on their lives in the severe cold weather.
They said that they are being compelled to lodge protest against the authorities concerned. They also demanded of the provincial government to get the issue resolved immediately.
The residents of different areas also pointed out that the students are also facing problems in preparation of the Intermediate examinations due to the low gas pressure.
Moreover, the Ameer of Jama’at-e-Islami (JI) Quetta district, Maulana Abdul Kabir Shakir and General Secretary Hafiz Noor Ali also expressed their deep concern over the issue of low gas pressure as well as electricity load shedding in Quetta.
