CPEC Parliamentary Committee visits M8, M85

GWADAR Nov 30 (PPI): Parliamentary committee of China Pak Economic Corridor led by its Chairman Mushahid Hussain Syed visited under construction M8 and M85 highways Gwadar-Turbat-Hoshab section by land and reviewed aerially. Members of the committee Federal Mistier Lt General (R ) Abdul Qadir Baloch, Gul Afridi, Rana Muhammad Afzal, Baz Muhammad, Fateh Muhammad Muhammad Hasni, general Salahuddin Tirmizi and others were also present.
Brig Rahimuddin Ahmed Farooqi of FWO and NHA officials briefed the committee and said that work on the first phase of Pak China Economic Corridor was under way speedily on Gwadar-Turbat-Hoshab section. It would be completed by Decmeber. Work on Panjgur-Surab-Baseema section has been accelerated and FWO was engaged day and night.
It was stated that 98 percent of Gwadar- Turbat-Hoshab has been completed 98 percent.
Chairman of Parliamentary Committee Mushahid Hussain Syed and Federal Mistier Abdul Qadir Baloch said that Gwadar Port is economic gateway and it would be milestone of economic revolution in the region. They said that this project not only basis of economic change but would be guarantee for peace and prosperity in the world by becoming an economic bloc. They said the areas from where this route would pass would end backwardness and unemployment and people would step in a new prosperous Pakistan.
