Governor addresses tribal elders and LB representatives

ZHOB Nov 30 (PPI): Law and order situation has improved in Balochistan. Work on Zhob-D I Khan road would start soon.
This was stated by Balochistan Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai while addressing tribal elders and local bodies representatives at Irfan Kasi Stadium here Monday.
Provincial Minister Nawab Ayaz Jogezai, Maulana Allah Dad Kakar, District Chairman Qazi Ahmed Khosti and others also spoke.
Earlier governor opened water supply scheme completed at a cost of Rupees 65 million.
Governor said that Gwadar-Kashgar project would open new vistas of progress and prosperity in Balochistan and provincial backwardness would end. He said federal government was taking special interest in the development of Balochistan.
He said work of Zhob-DI Khan highway would start soon. He regretted that despite sufficient representation of Zhob in National and provincial Assembly and Senate he was surprised to see deprivation of people from drinking water in the area. He said we have become habitual of free eating and we should avoid this habit. He directed concerned officials to supply water form this scheme upto where it is possible. He said there was time when people view Taliban with respect but it is regretted that they are named as terrorists.
He said Zhob veterinary hospital would be upgraded as veterinary college. He also announced provision of one ambulance for Zhob.
