QUETTA: The Kashmir Solidarity Day would be observed on February 5 with enthusiasm and passion in Balochistan as well like other parts of the country.
The sources of the provincial government informed that different activities and sports competitions would be organized to mark the Day and express solidarity with the Kashmiri brethren.
The rallies would be taken out and seminars would be held at the provincial capital level and district headquarters. The members of the provincial assembly to be nominated by the Chief Minister would also participate in the ceremony to be organized at Kohala bridge.
However, the Chief Minister would participate in the ceremony and demonstration to be held in Quetta. While on the other hand, the representatives of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference would also be invited to participate in the activities to be held marking the Kashmir Solidarity Day.
The speech competitions would also be arranged in the schools and colleges in which the male and female students would take part.
The competitions of football and hockey matches would be organized by the Provincial Sports department.
The district administration would also arrange the activities in this regard in their respective districts all over the province.
In this connection, the Deputy Secretary (Admin) Services and General Administration Department has been named as the Focal Person for contact with the federal government to arrange the programmes regarding the Solidarity Day.
