QUETTA: The Group Insurance Board’s meeting was held with Chief Secretary, Saifullah Chattha in the chair the other day.
Chairing the meeting, the Chief Secretary approved the payment of amount of the group insurance to the retired employees of the provincial government.
As per the decision, a sum of Rs. 25.8 crore would be paid to some 1048 retired employees. Similarly, the amount of Rs. 16 crore would be paid to the heirs of over 600 deceased civil servants.
The Chief Secretary on the occasion directed to complete the documents of the pending cases so as to ensure payment to them.
