Anti-polio drive kicked off in Karachi

HQ: Four anti-polio drives kicked off in Karachi on Monday where 2.2 million children will be administered polio drops during campaign in the metropolis.
The 6200 polio teams and 1395 area in charges have been deployed in 188 union councils of Karachi. About 11,000 law enforcement officials have been deputed for security of teams across the city.
During this drive in Karachi approximately 2.2 million children under-five year age will be administrated polio drops.
The polio teams will cover all union councils of Karachi four day drive started on 14th March and will continue till the 17th March 2016.
