Better health facilities and treatment is basic right of every citizen. Provincial government not only accepts this right but has ensured provision of medical equipment and medicines at hospitals, dispensaries and basic health centres, posting of doctors and medical staff in far flung and backward areas of Balochistan.
This was stated by Balochistan chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri in his message on World health Day being observed Friday.
He said special programmes for prevention and cure of health of mother and child, polio, measles and other fatal diseases, AIDS and Hepatitis for which huge funds have been allocated.
He aid observing health day at the international level is aimed at to adopt measures for problems and challenges confronting to people about their health and ongoing efforts for development of health sector at the government and non government level.
He said development of health sector is among priorities of present provincial government and huge funds were being spent under this head.
Chief Minister expressed commitment that treatment facilities would be provided to the people at their doorsteps and doctors and medical staff showing ignorance would be dealt with effectively.
