Punjab students visit UoB

QUETTA July 21 (PPI): One hundred and forty three position holder students from different higher educational institutions of Punjab visited University of Boahcistan here Thursday. A group discussion was held among the students at the auditorium with Begum Zakia Shah Nawaz Punjab Minister for higher education was the chief guest.
Vice Chancellor Dr Javaid Iqbal welcomed all the guests and students.
Addressing on the occasion Begum Zakia shah Nawaz said it is extremely pleasant occasion we are among our youth because we all are one and called Pakistanis. It is realization of dreams of founder of Pakistan Quaid e Azam.
She said we have arrived here with message of love from Punjab Chief Minister. Balochistan is important province of the country and there is no dearth of talent among its youth. Since youth have important role in national development and they can play their role for country’s development. Such positive activities and exchange of students among the students is important step towards change. Pakistan has been created for an objective. It is home of all nations and provinces are its bouquets. They have to play their role jointly for development.
Addressing Vice chancellor Dr Javaid Iqbal welcomed Punjab students to Balochistan’s largest educational institution. He said it came into being in 1970 imparting higher education for four decades. Majority of its teachers is M Phi, PhD holders. Over 11 thousand students were being provided opportunities of higher education. He said in the past our teachers were martyred due to uncertain situation. Financial crisis badly affected University.
Vice chancellor Dr Javaid Iqbal presented shields to chief guest and other guests. A reception was also held for the students.
