Balochistan Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai - Curriculum

QUETT A July 21 (PPI): Balochistan Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai has said after 18 th amendment our responsibilities to harmonise curricular with our environment have increased. Curricular has key significance in correct education of new generation, national aspirations and training and we by preparing standard syllabus can make new generation enable to play important role in achieving national targets.
He said this while speaking with a delegation here Thursday. Secretary Education Dr Omar Babar, Saadullah Tokhai, Chairman BISE Dr Siraj Kakar and others were present.
Governor said there is strong need to harmonise curriculum according to modern educational and research information and national needs. He said curricular should be prepared according to mental approach of children so that there is no burden on their minds and they cover up stages of social evolution.
He said education is best way for change as changes take place with passage of time but these should be according to modern knowledge and our national demands so that journey for development continues.
He regretted there remain such lapse of language and narration while preparing curricular which create negative impacts on minds of children and these remain there for always. He said words and signs used for teaching students should be easy, simple so that children understand them easily.
Stressing upon need of training of teachers he said for making curricular active and meaningful there is need teachers capability should be increased.
