8 injured in Quetta bomb exp0losions

QUETTA July 22 (PPI): eight persons including three children were injured in bomb explosion here Friday.
Police said that time device exploded along Sariab road here today. Bomb was fitted a cement pipe.
Police added that explosion was made to target caravan of a tribal leader who luckily escaped unhurt. Eight persons including three children were injured in the explosion. They included Adil, Irfan, Shah, Abdul Rasheed, Liaqat etc.
SSP Operations Syed Nadeem shah told media that according to Bomb Disposal Squad bomb was planted in a cerement pipe and 2.5 Kg to 3 Kg explosive was used. A rickshaw was also hit in the explosion and condition of its driver was very serious. Windowpanes of shops and houses in the vicinity were also broken.
Injured were shifted to civil hospital. A suspect was also taken into custody from the site. Search operation was launched in the area.
