QUETTA Oct 19 (PPI): Government was mobilizing all resources to end backwardness from the province. Providing basic facilities of life and development of far flung areas of the province is our topmost priority.

These views were expressed by Baluchistan Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri while speaking with District Chairman Awaran Naseer Bizenjo and Chairman Municipal Committee Awaran Raziq Mirwani here Wednesday. They called on him under the leadership of MPA Abdul Quddus Bizenjo.

Nawab Zehri said education, health and provision of drinking water in the province is among priorities of the government. Provision of basic facilities at the schools Rupees 1.5 billion have been earmarked under CM development programme and every district have been given Rupees 200 million. Education department has strictly been directed to launch special drive for girls education and for their admissions into the schools. It would bring betterment in ratio of education.

He aid no compromise would be made on absence of doctors and teachers and strict action would be taken against those defying it.

He said agriculture is backbone in provincial economy and effective measures were underway to streamline this sector on modern lines. Conversion of agri tube wells on solar energy would develop this sector and it would also increase agriculture produce.

Chief Minister said government was devolving powers at the lower level to improve working of local bodies institutions. Local Bodies budget has been increased to Rupees 12 billion form Five billion. It would help resolve problems of people in time.
