Ship breakers start implementation of CM’s orders

GADDANI Nov 25 (PPI): Ship breakers have started implementation of orders of Balochistan chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri issued during his visit there.

Initially distribution of cheques among relatives of people killed in Gaddani fire incident while health and security arrangements have also been made at different plots of ship breaking yard. Plot owners have provide uniform, long shoes, helmet, and gloves to workers at their plots. Dispensary, labour room, fire system and team for rescue ahs also been constituted at the plots.

Deputy Commissioner Lasbella Syed Zulfiqar Ali shah visited said plots Friday accompanied by BDA, environment, labour and other administration officers and took tock of security measures and medical facilities for the workers and also sought formation about trained and non technical staff. DC Lasbella would submit his report to Balochistan Chief Secretary in this regard and then Government of Balochistan would take decision about section 144 imposed on business activities at the ship breaking yard.

It is added here that Balochistan Chief Minister had directed DC during his visit to Gaddani to impose ban on ship breaking pending security arrangements and implementation of rules and regulations.
