QUETTA Nov 29 (PPI): Balochistan Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai has said that growers and business community in the province is faced with serious situation due to years long drought and other difficulties in the province. But in view of extraordinary economic and trade activities in the region, there are bright prospects of taking their goods to Central Asian Countries besides neighbouring countries and it is hoped that zamindars and business professional people would take their goods to those markets and start new era of progress and prosperity.

He was speaking with 7-member delegation form Khaliqabad here Tuesday.

Governor said that electricity is atop among important problems facing zamindars in the province. Provincial government has taken this issue seriously and it is striving to get its required supply of 1500 megawatts instead of 600 mw. Moreover he said as alternative of electricity solar energy was also being utilized.

Delegation thanked governor that he had given development schemes to Khaliqabad and Killi Ismail Quetta from his development funds.
