Common Training Programme delegation visits HQ FC

QUETTA Mar 6 (PPI): Frontier Corps Balochistan was amicably fulfilling its basic tasks of monitoring borders with Afghanistan and Iran, checking smuggling of narcotics, gun running and human smuggling, assisting provincial government for establishing aw and order, security to national assets, development projects and important installations.

This was stated by Lt Colonel Aamir Amin while briefing 18 member delegation of civil officers of Common Training Programme who visited Headquarters FC Balochistan here Monday.

He added that FC was providing services in education, health and welfare of people. Providing security to the people and establishing strong relations with them is topmost priority of FC. It is manning 53 schools, 7 colleges along with 9 hotels in far flung areas of the province to equip children with modern education. Besides, FC has also been in forefront during natural calamities such as earthquake and floods for their rescue and rehabilitation.

During question answer session IG FC Major General Nadeem Ahmed Anjum told that progress and prosperity is directly linked with peace and order. There fore besides restoration of law and order educational development and providing medical facilities is among top priorities of FC. He said development of Gwadar and economic corridor project would start of new era for the people.

He said during pat few weeks over 300 Ferraris of banned organisation who had become hostage at the hands of terrorists for security of their children joined national mainstream accepting State upper hand. He said situation ha changed now and Pakistan flag was hoisting in every district and thesil of the province. People’s cooperation with security forces and their confidence is guarantee of our success.

He reiterated commitment that FC would continue to play its role for making the province peaceful and exemplary with the cooperation of people and other organisation.

IG FC thanked Common Training Programme delegation for visiting Headquarters FC and requested them to play their role for betterment of Balochistan in their individual capacity.
