6 Kg IED recovered from railway line

SIBI Mar 6 (PPI): A 6 Kg IED was found along with track near Mangoli Railway Station. Jaffar Express train from Rawalpindi escaped narrowly. Train service was restored after defusing the bomb after several hours .
According to details, terrorists planted 6 Kg IED along the track near Mangoli Station in Jaffarabad today. On information security forces cordoned the area and stopped incoming and outgoing trains at various stations.
Bomb disposal Squad was called form Quetta which after hours long hectic efforts defused the IED.
It is added here that Jaffar Express from Rawalpindi to Quetta escaped narrowly. Security forces under strict security let trains to resume journey from Quetta to interior of the country. Trains arriving form Rawalpindi, Lahore and Karachi arrived late at night. These were detained in Sibi for security reasons. Security of railway stations, trains and track was increased.
