3-day anti-Polio drive commences all over Balochistan

QUETTA May 15 (PPI): Three day polio immunization campaign began in 30 districts of the Balochistan.
During this three-day polio immunization 2407382 children would be administered polio immunization drops along with the vitamin A drops. Nine thousand 760 teams are participating in the campaign including 8234 mobile while 870 fixed site and 656 transit point teams.
Security arrangements have also been finalized and Balochistan Levies, Police and FC have been deployed for the security of the polio workers
It is added here that no Polio case had been reported in Balochistan this year. Campaign kicked off Monday is of high importance as many families are travelling from hot regions of the country to Balochistan and in this regard the transit points would be given special focus.
