Sindh-Balochistan Highway blocked by burning tyres

TAMBOO May 22 (PPI): Sindh – Balochistan national highway was blocked in Dera Murad Jamali Monday. The highway was blocked while protesting abduction of Viki Kumar son of Senator (R ) Hemon Das (JUI) from Dera Murad Jamali recently.
According to details on the appeal of political parties, Shahri Action Committee, Anjuman Tajiran complete shutter down strike was observed in De Murad Jamali today. All business centres and shops remained close. Angry people burnt tyres on national highway and blocked traffic between Sindh and Balochistan. Hundreds of small and big vehicles were stranded on both sides. Passengers and travelers faced great difficulties due to sizzling heat.
Speaking on the occasion said abduction of Viki Kumar during broad day light, loot and other incidents of abductions is failure of police and DPO Nasirabad should be removed immediately. Abducted Viki Kumar should be recovered. Steps should also be taken for establishing peace and security to life and property of people.
