National Security Workshop

QUETTA Dec 8 (PPI): Today’s Balochistan has changed than in the past. CPEC and other development passages pass through Balochistan and it was ready to play its role for Pakistan’s economic stability.
These views were expressed by Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri while addressing prize distribution ceremony of National Security workshop under aegis of National Defence University here Friday.
Chief Minister said that steps taken for economic stability would not bring prosperity in life of common man but security situation would also improve. He said by holding national security workshop in Quetta has helped Balochistan leadership to understand matters relating to national security. Holding of workshop would also be helpful for future course of action and policy making. He said our forefathers and elders rendered immense sacrifices for security of the area. From creation of Balochistan province till now Baloch have been ruling the province. Unfortunately wrong way of ruling, negative thinking and faulty policies law and order situation remained deteriorated. Owing to unemployment foreign agencies and elements for sake of money were able to mislead our youth and used them against the country. It led to brothers killing. He said realizing the situation we laid basis of better system of rule and discouraged negative thinking and political and adopted positive policies in right direction for overall development of the province e particularly education of young generation He said we gave vision to security institutions for improving law and order situation and it is much better than the past with implementation. Those went to the mountains are now joining national mainstream on their return.
He said reorganizing police and Levies for improving law and order they were being provided modem training and facilities and Elite force has been formed to meet terrorism. He said so called movement of freedom of Balochistan has been foiled. With the cooperation of people and scarifies of security institutions and efforts religious terrorism would also be overcome soon.
Zehri said we are follower s of traditions and custodians. We also gave respect of terrorist elements women and children and handed them over to their relatives by giving chadar under Baloch tradition who are involved in killing of his children. It is regretful that these elements recklessly killed people going to foreign countries for earning bread few days after just few days later.
Later he distributed certificates among the participants of workshop.
