QUETTA Nov 25 (PPI): Owing to inappropriate attitude of NADRA three lakh identity cards of Pashtoons in the name of Afghan refugees are blocked in Balochistan. Every one has right to protest but we have objections over Imran Khan;s protest. Had there been old traditions he could not form government in Khyber Pashtoonkhwa. An independent body should be constituted for accountability of all including politicians.
These views were expressed by Chairman Pashtoonkhwa Milli Awami party Mahmood Khan Achakzai while speaking with a private TV channel.
He said we have to get rid of terrorism continuing in the region and have to adopt a better and early policy in this regard or conspiracies were on to entangle us in the war. He said not only we have to adopt a successful policy but should also be careful under the prevalent situation.
He said every one has right of protest during democratic era but no one can resign on every allegation nor we agree with Imran Khan’s protest. Achakzai said he was personally do not agree with Imran Khan protest. He said all the institutions should work within their orbit in the country and all decisions should be taken a t the parliament and thus there will be no problem. People are fountain head of power and they have returned their representatives to the parliament and so parliament should be admitted as independent body.
It is unfortunate there is accountability of politicians only. If it is carried out impartially then independent body should be formed for this purpose.
He said NADRA has two laws in the country. They impose different conditions in Balochistan to tease people while this condition does not exist in other provicnes. This is the reason three lakh identity cards are blocked in Balochistan in the name of Afghan refugees.
Answering a question about Afghan woman Sharbat Gulla he said policy adopted by the government and externed her was not right.
