Valley in grip of light rain

QUETTA Jan 30 (PPI): Quetta Valley and other parts of Balochistan were gripped by light rain Sunday night. One millimeter of rain was fallen till Monday night.
Reports of rain were also received from Zhob, Loralai, Ziarat, Killa Abdullah, Chaman, Mastung, Kalat and other areas. There was also snowfall on hill top in different parts.
Rain and snowfall brought cold in their wake. There were also complaints of low pressure in Quetta causing difficulties for the people.
Minimum temperature recorded in Quetta Valley Monday was 5 Celsius and maximum was 14.5 Celsius.
Kalat was coldest city with minimum temperature of minus 1 Celsius and Barkhan 4 Celsius.
Met office has forecast mainly cold and dry weather in major parts of Balochistan during coming 24 hours. Moreover thunderstorm/rain along with gusty winds may also occur at a few places in Quetta, Pishin, Qilla Abdullah, Sherani, Qilla Saifullah and Zhob districts.
